[Co-organized by Maison franco-japonaise] Toward Sound

2/18/2026 18:00 - 20:00 Add Calendar

Maison franco-japonaise 1F Auditorium

Natural sounds that fill a space, sounds that arise by chance, the noises of everyday life. How does “sound” take shape through audio recordings and moving images, and how do we in turn perceive it? This symposium explores the relationship between hearing and sight, and how creative practice might unfold when it begins with “listening.” Focusing on the “presence of sound,” it invites us to reflect on what it means to listen, to record, and to resonate with one another.
