Kyunchome
Kyunchome is an artist duo formed in 2011 by Homma Eri and Nabuchi. Their practice focuses on the sea, nature, living beings, the dead, and unseen presences, exploring ways of moving beyond anthropocentrism to imagine “new forms of love” and approaches to well-being. Working across video, installation, and participatory performance, they create poetic and humorous works through ritual-like actions.
Recent major exhibitions include the solo show “All Living Things Are Breathing Now” (Vargas Museum, the Philippines, 2025), “Roppongi Crossing 2022: Coming & Going” (Mori Art Museum, Tokyo), “Where We Now Stand: In Order to Map the Future [1]” (21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, 2019), and Aichi Triennale 2019.
