KAWAI Ken

Kawai grew up as a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults). After graduating from the Japan Academy of Moving Images, he has worked as an assistant director in commercial films while directing his own films. His two-part short film, The Sheep Story (2015), was screened at Nippon Connection 2016 and other events. He made his theatrical debut with Headless Girl (2021).
