Yoji Kuri is widely known as an animator. Yet he also worked prolifically as a manga artist, experimental filmmaker, and Surrealist painter, and this exhibition brings together these lesser-known facets of his practice. Until his death in 2024 at the age of ninety-six, his boundless creativity gave rise to an extraordinary body of work. Film screenings will also be held throughout the run of the exhibition.
