Atsuhiro Ito appeared at the first edition of the Yebisu International Festival for Art & Alternative Visions as Optrum, delivering a commanding live performance. Creator and performer of the “Optron”—a sound instrument made from modified fluorescent tubes—Ito now presents a solo exhibition centered on his sound objects, shown alongside two-dimensional and three-dimensional works. Curated by Gen Umezu.
