Advance Reservations

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, for viewing any program of the Festival – admission free or paid – at the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum, we recommend to make advance online reservations for specified dates/times. Thank you for your understanding.

– To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the numbers of visitors admitted to the 3F, 2F and B1F Exhibition Galleries are limited. Please understand that, depending on the situation, you may not be admitted immediately even if you have made an advance reservation. 
– Advance reservations can be made until 23:59 on the day prior to the day of your visit.
– The number of available advance reservations is limited. Once the limit is reached, you will no longer be able to make a reservation for your desired day/time slot even before 23:59. 
– For the duration of the Festival, groups will not be admitted to the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum.

Please present the QR code that you received with your reservation (on your smartphone or printed) at the entrance of the museum’s Exhibition Gallery that you wish to enter.

Live Event, Symposium

The programs below are admission-free, however you will need to obtain numbered tickets for admission and seating (available from 10:00 AM daily at the 1F Information Desk).

Admission: ¥500 (general, advance/door)

– Please present the QR code that you received with your reservation (on your smartphone or printed) at the entrance of the Gallery.

Screening 

Admission: ¥500 (advance) / ¥1,000 (door)

– Admission limited to 190 visitors / specified dates/times / admission opens 15 min. prior to the start of the program / admission in the order of ticket numbers / rotation system / unreserved seat
– To enter, please present your numbered ticket at the 1F Hall reception desk.
– To receive a numbered ticket, please present the QR code that you have received with your reservation (on your smartphone or printed) one hour up to 15 min. prior to the start of the respective program at the 1F Information Desk of the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum.

Special Screening

Admission: ¥1,500 (advance) / ¥1,800 (door)

Admission: ¥1,500 (advance) / ¥1,800 (door)

– Admission limited to 120 visitors / specified dates/times / admission opens 30 min. prior to the start of the program / admission in the order of ticket numbers / rotation system / unreserved seat
– To enter, please present your numbered ticket at the 1F Hall reception desk.

Canceling advance reservations

If you are unable to visit the museum on the day of your reservation, please cancel your reservation up to the day prior to your planned visit. If you do not cancel your reservation, the ticket you have purchased online will become invalid. (You may not cancel your reservation on or after the day of your reservation. Also, please note that it may take some time for the system to process your cancellation.)

Tickets at the Door

Exhibition|Tokyo Photographic Art Museum, 3F (paid), 2F/B1F Exhibition Galleries (free)

– In addition to reserving tickets online, you may also obtain tickets for any program – free or paid – at the door on the day of your visit (for a specified time). Tickets are available daily from 10:00 AM at the 1F Information Desk of the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum. 

– Tickets purchased at the door are valid for the same time slots as reserved tickets (①-⑨ as specified above).

Screening|Tokyo Photographic Art Museum, 1F Hall

– Tickets are available daily from 10:00 AM at the 1F Information Desk at the Hall of the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum. 

* Tickets are available daily from 10:00 AM, in limited numbers and on a first-come-first-served basis.

Notes 

– Admission to the 3F Exhibition Gallery is free for preschool age children, students (including elementary to high school), persons aged 65 or above, as well as persons with a physical disability certificate and up to two caretakers. Please present your certificate/ID card at the 1F Information Desk.

– Advance reservations are not available for persons who belong to one of the above admission-free groups, or have received an invitation. Please understand that you may not be admitted immediately in the case of congestion.

– Preschool age children accompanied by a guardian are admitted to any Screening or other event. (In case an extra seat is needed, you will need to purchase an extra ticket.)
