Fourth-year university student. Born in Nibutani, Hokkaido, where Ainu tradition is still very much alive. Currently a member of her university’s Ainu Language Study Group. She won a Grand Prize in the Ainu Language Speech Contest, was an instructor for the STV (Sapporo Television) Ainu language radio course in 2018, and continues to promote the Ainu language and culture on the YouTube “Shito Channel” and at various events, lectures, etc.
