Currently also works as an associated at the French Institute for Research of the Maison franco-japonaise (Umifre 19). His work has been focusing on transformations of urban spaces in Japan, changes in demographics, and the socio-spatial effects of the tsunami and nuclear accident on March 11, 2011.
