Filmmaker, translator, and artist living and working in New York and Tokyo. He has directed, shot, and produced short narrative films, documentaries, music videos, fashion spots, and a concert film. His latest short film THE CHICKEN (2020) premiered at the Locarno International Film Festival. He is part of two collectives: the artist-filmmaker collective Zakkubalan and the creative collective Lunch Bee House. With the latter, he has shot and co-directed the documentary film and art project AINU NENO AN AINU (2021). He was assistant director and did subtitling for the feature film AINU MOSIR (2020 / NC ’21).
