Restoration and preservation of Taiwanese films, and after the Taiwan New Wave

Yebisu International Festival for Art & Alternative Visions 2024 invites Taiwanese film archivists and curators to join Japanese museum curator with a deep knowledge of Japanese film culture in the examination of moving images in Taiwan and Japan. Focusing on film culture after the Taiwan New Wave, which played an important role in the 1980s, the discussion will consider the possibilities for moving images in exhibitions and the diversity of video art from an archival perspective.
