Ei ARAKAWA-NASH

Born in 1977 in Fukushima Prefecture. Ei Arakawa-Nash is a performance artist based in Los Angeles.
Actively working with the works of other artists, his performances maintain an intersubjective authorship by continually creating collaborative spaces that intersect with a diverse group of artists, non-performers, art historians, and audience members. Also, he has written musical comedies based on historical Japanese collectives such as Gutai, Jikken Kobo (Experimental Workshop), and the early Video artists in Tokyo/Kyoto. He is a professor in the Graduate Art program at Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, Los Angeles.
