IGUCHI Nami

In 2000, Iguchi directed the 8mm film Inuneko, which later won the Planning Award (TBS Award) at the Pia Film Festival Award 2001 and the New Director Award at the 12th Japanese Professional Movie Awards. In 2004, she made her debut as a commercial film director with the 35mm remake of Inuneko, Followed by Don’t Laugh at My Romance (2008) and The Tale of Nishino (2014). Her other works include the short film Somebody to Sing over Me (2019), and her first documentary When Kids Make Movies (2021).
