In the near future, young revolutionaries are engaging in guerilla tactics. The Liberation Front in Mexico, meanwhile, is combating the
United States and looking to form an alliance of whites, blacks, Puerto Ricans and Mexicans, but has to grapple with challenges and
frustrations along the way. In Ice (1969), a fictional film that casts the hopeless Vietnam War in stark relief, Robert KRAMER fuses
the perceptive touch of a documentarian with textual elements, photography, and caricatures of war machinery to create a hybrid visual
language that renders the contemporary chaos in a deep, multilayered fashion.
