Guided tour on the transposition of differing cultures and perspectives[60 min. / in Japanese]

Route: Tokyo Photographic Art Museum, all floors → Yebisu Garden Place Center Square
Tour guide: MŌRI Yoshitaka [Sociologist; Professor, Graduate School of Global Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts]

 

This tour will examine the Festival while focusing on several artists and works to give careful consideration of this year’s theme, various “transpositions” of differing cultures and media. The guide is Prof. Mōri, who views society from the viewpoint of sociology through its various background cultures and media.

 

[How to Take Part]
・Participation is free, but tickets are necessary. Numbered tickets will be distributed at the information desk on the first floor of Tokyo Photographic Art Museum from 10:00 on the day of the tour.
・Please meet at the meeting point next to the information desk on the first floor five minutes before the tour is due to start.
・Tours 1 and 3 will be conducted in Japanese. Tour 2 will be in easy Japanese (*with summarized English interpretation).
・Maximum 15 people per tour.
