Born 1957 in New York, lives and works in New York. Graduated from California Institute of the Arts (B.F.A) in 1979. Oursler has been showing how media technology affected the condition of human mind through his cross-disciplinary works including paintings, three-dimensional works, video installations and performances. He has held exhibitions at major museums internationally and will have a solo exhibition at Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts (KMFA), Taiwan in 2021.
