Born in 1986 in Ulsan, Korea. Youngkak Cho is a new media artist based in Seoul now. He has shown a new experience and digital sensibility that he creates from the interaction between machines and systems using interactive media. He explores inadvertently missed social, technological issues by combining various elements existing in and out of the system. Mainly in his artworks, the latest digital technologies, A.I., Data Science and Robotics are used to project an uncertain assumed situation into the present. Cho’s works have been presented in venues such as Ars Electronica (Linz, Austria), ELEKTRA (Montreal, Canada), State Hermitage Museum (St Petersburg, Russia), Seoul Museum of Art (Seoul).
