Specially appointed associate professor, Center for the Study of Co* Design at Osaka University. Research areas: philosophy and semiotics. Completed the basic human sciences research program in the Graduate School of Human Sciences, School of Human Sciences, Osaka University. After working at a nursing school and group home, he took up his current position in 2017. A lover of city streets, he is interested in changing structures as people and things shift and change. He holds a regular philosophy café at BethelBukuro, a community space with close ties to Bethel House in Urakawa, Hokkaido, creating a space where people of many different backgrounds can gather.
