A two-person band comprised of Kobayashi Muku (https://pocopuu.net) and Tokisato Mitsuru (https://tokisato.info), Shojiki was formed in 2016. Based on the band’s concept, which is to play in the most honest (“shojiki”) way possible, they have recently been incorporating motors and curing tapes into their performances. In 2018, the band released a cassette tape on Basic Function, entitled KB, which won an Honorary Mention Award at the Ars Electronica in Linz, Austria, in 2019.
