Born in Hyogo, Japan, in 1983, Yamaguchi lives and works in Tokyo. She completed a postgraduate course at Kyoto City University of Arts and now produces work on the theme of touch, using a wide range of media. Having performed in Boston, Paris and Hong Kong and exhibited in New York, Taipei, Stockholm, Wrocław (Poland) and elsewhere, Yamaguchi also exhibited and performed at the 7th Yebisu International Festival for Art & Alternative Visions in conjunction with her representative Keitai Girl series.
