ONDA Aki was born in Japan and currently
resides in New York (U.S.) ONDA is a
sound artist and performer. In particular, he is known for Cassette Memories-a series of
works compiled from a “sound diary” of field recordings
collected using a Walkman cassette
recorder over the last quarter-century. ONDA
often works in interdisciplinary fields and
collaborates with filmmakers, visual artists,
and choreographers.
