Born in 1966 in Okinawa Prefecture. Directed
the movie Pineapple Tours in 1992. In 1994,
he joined the staff of Tokyo arthouse cinema
BOX Higashinakano. He subsequently went
freelance and became a director of animated
films for television in Taiwan. From 2005,
he was the director of Okinawa arthouse
cinema Sakurazaka Theater. He later returned
to freelance work, becoming involved with
video and art production, in parallel with his
efforts to set up the Okinawa Digital Archive
Association.
