木ノ下智恵子 KINOSHITA Chieko

KINOSHITA Chieko

KINOSHITA Chieko (born in 1971) is a
specially appointed associate professor at
Osaka University’s Center for the Study of CO
Design. Her areas of specialization include
contemporary art, project planning and
production, and cultural policy. She assumed
her current post in October 2016, after serving
as art producer at Kobe Art Village Center
(1996-2005) and specially appointed lecturer
and associate professor at Osaka University’
s Center for the Study of Communication-
Design (2005-2015). KINOSHITA’s activities
include exhibitions and art projects, as well
as cultural projects related to the practical
application of the Heritage of Industrial
Modernization, and disaster recovery/urban
planning. She serves on committees and juries
related to the arts and culture in government,
corporations, etc., and contributes to the
development of regulations related to the arts
and culture as well as cultural policy.
