KINOSHITA Chieko

Born in 1971, Kinoshita is an associate professor at Osaka University’s Office for the Society-University Co-Creation, Co-Creation Bureau. Her areas of specialization include contemporary art, project planning and production, and cultural policy. She assumed her current post in April 2017, after serving as art producer at the Kobe Art Village Center (1996-2005) and specially appointed lecturer and associate professor at Osaka University’s Center for the Study of Communication-Design (2005-2015). Her activities include exhibitions and art projects, as well as cultural projects related to disaster recovery, urban planning, and the utilization of modern industrial heritage sites. She serves on governmental and private sector committees and juries related to the arts and culture, and contributes to the development of cultural policies and arts and culture-related regulations.
