Born in and lives in Tokyo. After joining TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System Television, Inc.), Yamada was assigned to the drama department and made her directorial debut three years later. Since then, she has worked on two-hour TV dramas, variety shows, nature documentaries, music programs, animated short films, and many other types of program. Since 2014, she has served as Festival Director for “DigiCon6 ASIA, ” hosted by TBS.
