Born in 1969 in Detroit, U.S.A., Berry is a cultural worker, filmmaker and programmer living in Toronto. He holds a Master of Arts from the New School for Social Research in New York and maintains a diaristic filmmaking practice with recent screenings across Asia, Europe and North America. He has been working with artist-run, community based and/or not for profit arts collectives and organizations for more than 20 years including “Workman Arts ” and “ the Images Festival. ” Berry is currently Festival Manager of Rendezvous with Madness, Chair of the Board at Media Arts Network of Ontario, and is an alumnus of boards of numerous organizations.
