TAMAYAMA Takuro

Born 1990 in Gifu. Lives and works in Tokyo. After graduating from Aichi University of the Arts, he completed the master’s program at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2015. His meticulously composed spaces make reference to familiar imagery, incorporating various objects such as furniture and everyday items, color gradations expressed through video, kinetic movement, and vivid lighting and sound. Major recent exhibitions include NACT View 01 Takuro Tamayama Museum Static Lights (The National Art Center, Tokyo, 2022), Anything will slip off / If cut diagonally (ANOMALY, 2021), and VISION part 1: On Light / Light On : in the Celebration of 25th Anniversary of the Toyota Municipal Museum of Art (Toyota Municipal Museum of Art, 2020).
