三田村光土里 MITAMURA Midori


Visual artist, born 1964 in Aichi Prefecture. Uses various materials to orchestrate spaces as “dramas which people can venture into,” and thereby communicate stories illustrating personal mental sceneries. Recent exhibitions include ”Assembridge Nagoya 2020” (Former Minato Dormitory of Nagoya Custom, Japan, 2020), the solo show “If not here, then I’m somewhere else” (Galería Manuel Ojeda, Las Palmas, Spain, 2018), “Aichi Triennale 2016” (Aichi Arts Center, Nagoya, Japan, 2016), “Living Locally: Reconsidering Critical Regionalism” (Arts Maebashi, , Japan, 2015), “Over the Rainbow” (Fuchu Art Museum,Tokyo, 2012), the solo exhibition “Art & Breakfast Melbourne” (Monash University Museum of Art, Melbourne, Australia, 2011), and “Quiet Attentions: Departure from Women” (Art Tower Mito, Japan, 2011).
